I found myself turning to AI tools like ChatGPT for recommendations, answers, and guidance instead of traditional search engines, and if I was doing it, I figured other people were too.

What began as curiosity quickly became passion. I started researching how AI platforms decide which businesses to surface, trust, and recommend. The deeper I went, the clearer it became that most small and midsize businesses were completely unprepared for this shift. Even some of my go-to partners with strong reputations were not part of the AI conversation.
